Jay A. Andrew, a resident of the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, joined Riebandt & DeWald, P.C. in 2003, concentrates in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, real estate transactions and litigation, residential and commercial leasing and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Andrew was an attorney with Morgen & Perl in Lincolnwood, Illinois, with a general practice.

Mr. Andrew is currently the Chairperson for the Northwest Suburban Bar Association’s Young Lawyers and Mentors Committee since 2004 and as Co-Chairperson of the Mock Trial Committee since 2005. During his term with the Young Lawyers and Mentors, the Committee has raised several thousand dollars for charities, such as, Habitat for Humanity and the Louisiana State Bar Hurricane Relief Fund. Mr. Andrew is a member of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association since 1999.

Mr. Andrew earned his B.A. in Political Science from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. As a freshman, Mr. Andrew was a member of the National Champion Drake University Mock Trial team. In 1999, Mr. Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Andrew was admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court and the United State District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1999.

He practices in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake and McHenry Counties.
